The portfolio you create this quarter will allow you compare your writing this quarter to your writing in the previous quarters. It will also show progress you have made toward reaching your writing goals.
Your Q4 Portfolio is worth 60 points and will be due on Wednesday, May 27, 2009. You must have the following in your portfolio:
Core Course Writing Sample (10 points): Select one of your favorite writing assignments or projects from your core classes (humanities, math or science).
ESL Writing Sample (10 points): Include the writing assignment that you completed for ESL class.
ESL In-class Writing Sample (10 points): The writing sample that you completed in class for this quarter.
Student Choice Sample (10 points): Select a piece of writing that you completed during the quarter. It can be creative writing, poetry, etc.--something that shows your strengths as a writer.
